NEET UG 2026: Critical Security Updates for Registration

For the first time, the NTA has moved toward a "Tech-First" verification system for NEET 2026. These new security protocols are designed to eliminate impersonation.
Key Security Features:
- 1. Aadhaar-based eKYC (Mandatory)
Your identity is verified in real-time through the Aadhaar database. Requirement: Your Name, Gender, and Date of Birth on your 10th/12th certificate MUST match your Aadhaar record exactly. - 2. Live Photo Capture (New!)
Instead of just uploading a gallery photo, the NTA system will now capture your live photograph via webcam or mobile camera during registration. This photo is matched with your Aadhaar photo using AI. - 3. Dual-Verification at Center
The live photo taken today will be cross-referenced with your facial recognition data at the exam center gate on May 3, 2026.
📢 Action Required: Ensure your Aadhaar is linked to an active mobile number to receive the OTP for eKYC. If your Aadhaar photo is very old, consider updating it at an Aadhaar center before registering.
