​The Tamil Nadu State Transport Corporation (TNSTC) has announced a significant recruitment drive for 2025, offering 3,274 vacancies for the position of Driver-cum-Conductor across various regions. ​

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed SSLC/10th Standard and be proficient in reading, writing, and speaking Tamil.​

 

Age Limit: As of July 1, 2025, the minimum age is 24 years. The maximum age is 40 years for Other Classes (OC) and 45 years for Backward Classes, Most Backward Classes, Denotified Communities, Scheduled Castes, and Scheduled Tribes. For ex-servicemen, the maximum age is 50 years for OC and 55 years for the aforementioned reserved categories.​


Licenses and Experience: Applicants should possess valid Heavy Transport Driving and Conductor Licenses, along with a minimum of 18 months of heavy vehicle driving experience. ​

Interested candidates can apply online through the official website: arasubus.tn.gov.in. The application window is open from March 21, 2025, to April 21, 2025. Applicants are advised to read the detailed notification available on the website before proceeding with the application. ​


Application Fee:

General and OBC Candidates: ₹1,180 (inclusive of 18% GST)​

SC/ST Candidates: ₹590 (inclusive of 18% GST)​
The fee can be paid through online payment modes. ​


Selection Process:

The selection procedure includes a Written Test, a Practical Test, and an Interview. ​
